Instead of spending a lof of ressources on developing and maintaining your own drag'n'drop email editor, I think you should consider to use Beefree instead (https://docs.beefree.io/beefree-sdk).
It has all the features of your current editor and more and is already used by other big email marketing platforms in the market.
To be honest, the UI/UX of Beefree is much better than what you have today.
